RSVP offers a variety of volunteer opportunities catered to the skills, wisdom and experience of the volunteers and those in need. Volunteers can work in area schools to increase literacy and other subject proficiency, reach out to homebound seniors with a friendly phone call, participate in a buddy program for returning veterans, join a mentoring program for children of incarcerated parents, provide management/consulting to non-profit organizations, or serve in many other areas. An orientation and training are provided for all of these programs, as well as ongoing support from the RSVP staff for as long as you volunteer.
